    What a great company! Seriously!
"I have been replacing my studio equipment as needed over the years with many Rockville products. I can truly say from personal experience that the Rockville speakers, rack effects, amps and more are as good as JBL's, Peavey's and Behringer's I've replaced with Rockville.
I was skeptical at first but bought large passive PA speakers to test. Took me a moment to get them tuned correctly. But once I figured out their response they matched the very expensive ones they replaced. And for a fraction of the cost. Eventually I had to replace some of my older equipment like: dual 31 band eq racks, 32 band power mixers, dual channel power amps, monitors, powered bass sub woofers and more. Haven't been disappointed yet. Plus the cost has been lower than when I bought the name brand equipment 10-20 yrs ago!
That's all great but, what really won me over was a moment when I had to deal with customer service. I don't think the problem was their fault. But they made sure to get me taken care of. I can't say enough good things about the products and the company! Thank you."
    Simply Awesome...
"I read thoroughly the various reviews. I completely disagree with criticisms about loud fans, in addition to a couple of nonsensical bipolar rants. Here's my review: You can't get a better bang for your bucks with this amp. It rocks! Everything about it is great in my book. The fans loud? Good lord, I have no idea why some people say that. Mine are quiet, and I'm using this amp to replace a retired old Parasound, (which was an amazing amp in itself, but it's finally dying). It's now serving as part of my DAW gear, which doesn't need to be dance club level loud. It's to record and track original music. No, I don't use it for deejaying, (they like everything loud and boomy). Maybe that's why they're complaining? Anyway, It's slightly louder than my Parasound with the addition of bridging and a crossover, (another novelty for deejay use). The amp drives my studio monitor speakers clean. And the instructions it came with are a standard of modern industry, (and I clearly understood them). A lot of the internal components are made in Japan, and as far as I can tell, it was constructed in China. But with all QC, engineering and design in the USA. Bottom line....simply awesome!"
Loud, but if you're willing to take some risks, it can be a great value.
"Like many people have complained about this amp has loud fans. I didn't take the reviews seriously.

First, let's talk about my use case. I bought this for home theater use. I watch movies and listen to music. I own a marantz receiver, while it is high quality, it is only a puny 60w per channel at 8 ohms. Over the holidays I found a great deal on some infinity r162s. These speakers were ok on the 60w, but a little quiet. They are rated up to 150w. So I bought this amp as it will supply up to 125w at 8 ohms.

On to what's wrong and what you can do. First problem, holy crap I can hear the fans anywhere in my entire house they are so loud. I took the amp apart and removed the fans, planning to replace them with quieter fans. I did some googling, but I didn't find anything that was near silent for a reasonable price. This thing actually has a pretty large heat sink so I ran it for 3 hours with music playing at what I'd call medium volume. The heat sink was still cold to the touch. I noticed that the heat sink also appears to have a thermocouple so I felt little risk in removing the fans entirely.

Now that I can actually hear something besides fans at a low volume, I discovered that I had some pretty good amp buzz going on. Now there are some safe things you can do to fix this. There are some groundloop arresters etc. But those cost money. You aren't looking at this amp because you like to spend extra money. I had an idea that isn't safe. You should definitely not break off the ground prong on the power cord. It fixes the buzz/him, but it isn't safe. So I did that and now it is quiet and my music/speakers sound lovely.

I'm sure if the engineers who designed this amp could read this they'd have a fit, but I'd have words with them too.

I hope that helps any potential buyers."
