"Don't let the simplistic control panel fool you; this is a very versatile amp. Clean channel goes from pristine to just on the edge of breakup with tons of headroom. Dirty channel can do everything from bluesy breakup to classic rock crunch to beefy alt-rock distortion. Kick it in the teeth with a Tube Screamer and you get some gnarly metal tones. This thing sings and screams when you want it to. It takes boost pedals very well, the fx loop is clean, and it responds pretty well to the volume pot and pick attack. Lots of bang for the buck with this head.

UPDATE: So Ive been playing this for a few months now and I'm very happy with it. I've used several different guitars, cabinets, boost pedals, pickups, etc, and this head always delivers great tones. Never mind "for the price" or "for solid state," this is straight up just a great amp."

Well built. Quality design. Very sturdy. I’m using the balanced DI output to connect my powered 3 way speaker cabinet. I built a custom shelf for the Orange super crush 100 amp head to place on top of my QSC speaker cabinet. Perfect!"
