If I could only keep one...
"We've had a pretty nice collection of amps roll through my studio over the years, from a really solid old Blues Junior and Princeton 5A3, to a killer modern Valvetrain Bennington to a custom-made Red Iron Mil-Spec (Paul Sanchez amp, absolute monster). The Lionheart is the cheapest one we ever bought, and frankly something I bought initially for my own personal gigging use. The first day it arrived, one of the artists I produce (stellar blues guitarist/singer) happened to be there to track some of the vocals for his upcoming record, and was curious enough to hear it ahead of the session, so we booted it up just to put it through its paces a bit. With the stock tubes, no break-in, what came out was one of the warmest, most harmonically rich, lush sound I've ever heard out of any amp in my life. The artist liked it so much better than his own AC30 that we ended up retracking nearly half the guitars on the record through it. Needless to say it never left the studio. We ultimately ended up rolling it with PSVANE tubes, and after about a year of use now, I can honestly say this ends up being the amp we reach for about 80% of the time. If I could only keep one amp of any I own, it would definitely be this one. You can't really get good metal tones out of it, it doesn't have the MOST clean headroom of anything I've heard, and the Valvetrain's spring reverb is better (but then again it's better than any other spring I've ever heard by miles). Apart from that, there's just about nothing you can throw at it that you can't get a stellar, stellar sound out of. I've yet to hear a distortion pedal that sounds better than the integral drive circuit on the amp itself. If you want a do-it-all small combo amp for gigging, small studios or even practice, this is easily the best one I've ever used. I'd be completely lost without it."
    Misleading
"Probably a great amp..... If you get the 'Made in the UK' version with the 'Heritage G12H' and type 4 spring reverb - JUST WHAT YOU SEE IN THE DESCRIPTION. I recently ordered one... And mine is made in China with the Anniversary Chinese Celestion, and a crappy digital reverb. If Laney feels like cutting corners - they should be cutting the price too!!! Amazon should pay attention to the product description!! This amp is going back.."
    Very Impressive Amp
"This is an awesome home use amp that you could probably work a small gig with.
It's looks are outrageous, massive boutique feel to it with absolutely no corners cut on construction.
It really delivers on a wide range of very satisfying tones and at volumes that won't damage your ears or tick off the neighbors.
    Definitely check this one out."
