Fender Blues Junior IV Guitar Amplifier, Black

    Love it (of course)
"Thought it might not be loud enough, based on the size, but first time I used it was at an outside gig downtown during the day and it blew me away with how great it sounds. Hell, even the other members of the band were talking after the show about how good it sounds. And it is PLENTY loud enough. Honestly can't say enough about how much I love it. However, I've been playing live music for many years, so I knew what I was looking for when I bought it (without trying it out first, obviously). So don't take my word for it, research your amp and make sure it's what you really want/need before you buy it. Peace."
Best tube amp for the "Fender" tone and for a great price!
"This is the very first tube amp that I have bought and I couldn't be happier. I am a Stratocaster player, so the Fender Blues Junior pairs perfectly with it for that classic "Fender" tone. It is easy to dial in everything from Stevie Ray Vaughan tones with a very glassy tone, to John Mayer tones with a very smooth and balanced EQ. It is the perfect size and weight for gigging musicians like me that play at everything from bars to fairs. I don't think that I will ever need another amp and I very much recommend purchasing it! 5 stars!"
    A beautiful little amp
"It has a few hisses and rattles and has a loud hum (using a tele … single coils) … BUT … this is a wonderful tone monster. The sounds are superb, and it’s everything I could ask for in a small tube amp. At 30 pounds, it’s easily portable. If I could change anything, I’d like a removable cord, rather than hard-wired. Also, the packaging … come on Fender – you put the box with the footswitch in the back and let it bounce around in transit next to the speaker? Fortunately nothing (to my knowledge) was damaged, but still …

I recommend this little puppy whole-heartedly. I knocked off a star for the above issues. That said – I’d be remiss if I didn’t comment on the packaging. I don’t know if I’m to blame Crazy Dave’s Music (though it seems they are in Florida and this shipped from California, so maybe a drop-ship) or Amazon or UPS. But I was mortified when the package arrived! Even the Styrofoam covers protecting the amp were broken (see photos). Maybe another reason to buy local. I dunno.

But – thank you Fender for a beautiful little amp. I love it!!!"
