"I was introduced to Blackstar amps after testing the U120 bass amp at my local music store. I have zero to little experience, but quickly learned there's some pretty good sounds you can achieve with their U120 bass amp which guided me to their guitar amp. My musical taste is primarily blues, but I like a lot of different tunes and this amp is exactly what I need to explore building my own technique. The versatility right out of the box as a beginner is superb! I have it paired with a new 2021 Epiphone Les Paul Standard 60's and it is amazing with my minimal instruction. My mentor and I have taken a fond likeness to Blackstar equipment just because we're surprised with what we can do simply jamming with very basic rhythms. The Blackstar 20 V3 is small, but packs a punch with some cool vibes in my home with no carpet presenting a nightmare for a bass guitar, but pleasure with my current combo I've loved since first sound. I CANNOT wait to advance simply based upon a 10 year plus search of finding a sound I've been craving that's now beginning to come to the light. Don't be fooled by its size because I believe its a perfect beginner amp worth every penny!
