All the sound & features I could've asked for
"Its the only small tube amp I could find with all of theses features. The reverb & voice work great for fine tuning the sound, finding ‘your’ sound. Option of plugging in a foot pedal, & the USB audio connection is great for hooking up to recording equipment. The headphone jack is very important, and Im really surprised at how many other brands do not cone with a HP jack on their practice tube amps. And to top it off, it also has an mp3 audio input. Features I couldnt find in other small tube amps, even ones that cost 3 times as much.
And dont get me started on the sound! Its the PERFECT practice amp! You can play it at very low levels & still hear the full dynamic range of this amp. Extremely impressed with its low level performance. If you havnt tried a tube amp before, you wont regret getting one! Such a full, warm sound. Youd never guess the sound was coming out of a 1w amp!
Will buy a bigger blackstar tube in the future for doing bigger gigs. But even this one is perfect for small gigs like a restaurant/cafe coffee house etc.
