Sounds Fantastic
"For context, I've owned a wide range of tube and solid state combo amps. Play mostly classic rock and metal, e.g., Zeppelin, Sabbath, AC/DC. Also, my number one is an HSS style Charvel. That said, I think those who accept the Fly 3 for what it is, i.e., a tiny solid state battery powered amp, will be very happy with it. Although you probably won't fool anyone into thinking you're playing through a cranked tweed (tone @ 0) or cranked Marshall (tone @ 10), the overdrive tone is surprisingly good. Also the clean tone is excellent, particularly with the neck or neck and middle pickups. Lastly, once I got used to the delay I found the two knob setup to be much more versatile than the typical one knob reverb."
"This little amp is just right for what I need. It won't blow your hair back but it is light and doesn't take much space. The distortion function is fun to play with. Coupled with a Traveler electric I like to hang outside or inside my van to practice. Has a DC input so I can play from my house battery too. Not huge bass response, but its only 3W..... I like it!"
