"I bought this for my 8 year old stepson for Christmas. He had become really interested in music because he had seen me play my bass and guitar, and even expressed interest in playing mine. So naturally I wanted to get him one for Christmas. It’s a decent value for its price, about what you’d expect. It sounds twangy and the little 5w amp is very crackly. But if you’re not sure if a kid will stick with guitar this is a decent buy. It’s enough for them to learn the basics of guitar and whether or not they like playing enough to stick with it. It might even make a decent mod guitar for a MUCH smaller guitar player. Overall, it is not a bad buy for someone in my situation or something similar. As an adult guitar player, the guitar sucks, but it’ll be a good starter for a small child interested in learning."
