    Great amp.
"This amp has a sound and effects onboard which are very impressive. The gain on the distortion is responsive giving you big crunch or just light fuzz. The reverb is so good it almost sounds like a delay if you turn it up to much. Great amp. Great price very impressed."
Smaller than I thought, actual verified buyer.
"I also own the LYX Pro 60 watt, in white tolex, and it is a better amplifier. First, the controls on the Coolmusic are not as comprehensive, and are located on the back top, like a tube amp. LyX Pro has them on the front, like a Marshall.
That both feature 10" speakers, but the CoolMusic has a smaller cabinet, which restricts the 10" a little more in expressing itself.
Controls on the LYX Pro are much more definitive, and allow more control. Also, they are on the front, and much easier to control.
Overall, this is substandard to the LYX Pro, and 10 more watts, for only $10 more. Skip this, buy the LYX Pro 60 watt."
    Really cool mid-size combo
"This is actually a little large for only having one 10" speaker, so it truly is kind of like a smaller amp in a big box, but it has really impressive volume and a few added features, namely the "Drive" channel and the reverb. Having a devoted clean channel is nice if you are running effects with distortion or something other than guitar into it, but if you want to add the built in distortion, just push the button on the drive channel and it switches from "clean" to "drive". Sure, it would be nice to have a footswitch for this, but this is a basic budget amp and sometimes I prefer to NOT have accessories to lose.
One great thing about this amp is that the power transformer is built in and the power cable is a standard removeable AC power cord. I have other amp products from Coolmusic that have an external DC power supply that connects with a barrel plug - Amplifiers just aren't the place for that, the power jack is sure to end up getting broken if you aren't careful. No problem with that here. The worst that might happen is someone trips on the cable and unplugs it.
This amp makes a lot of sound for not much money, but the build quality seems pretty good considering. Heavy and solid without weighing a ton. The back is closed, so you won't be tempted to throw your cables and junk in the back and damage your speaker...
This would be a great starter amp or a great "beater" to use when you don't want to have to worry about your fancy high priced amp getting a beer spilled on it. Aside from their power supply choices on some models, Coolmusic makes some very useful stuff that seems to work pretty well from what I've seen so far (I have 3 other Coolmusic amps). I have no complaints so far about this amp, it even looks pretty classy. Recommended!"
